Fall of Efrafa as I said before (2008 Elil release) is a band that combine metal, crust and hardcore! Their new 2009 release is a great work. In this album we realize that there are a lot of interesting compositions and an excellent music production. Noise metal, a modern crust and some extreme harsh and brutal vocals mixed together in a hardcore music salad, under the vinegrate of post music and avant-garde mood. I think this band is the future of the genre, they sound like Neurosis and at the same time they can reach music of Buried Inside, Envy and Earth and some other times they leak atmospheric post paths from Godspeed You! Black Emperor. This kind of hardcore they play is modern and meta-metal. Their ambience is aggressive but on the other hand they promote a fully atmospheric and psychedelic attitude. Denovali recs promote the album for free download and sell it in a 2xLP in deluxe gatefold packaging. 200 on Clear, 200 on Clear+Black Haze, 200 on Brown and 1400 on Black vinyl, you can find it as a CD from sound devastation records. They can climb really high in my 2009 favorite list! Hardcore parts rotate with post rock, doom metal belie modern sludge savage parts. Their music is in high standards, some of their ideas sound like never before. Yes this is my favorite kind of metal today and I can say that this is avant-garde nowadays. Do NOT miss this album. Excellent, that’s all!!! Close your ears do not listen to anything else and just concentrate or get addict with this one.
